Today I brought in bagels to share as a sort of “everyone come meet me and my free bagels” gesture.  I got a guy on my team to give me a recommended email list to use to announce the bagel presence.  I brought 2 dozen bagels and it is now almost lunch time and I’ve only had about 5 takers.  I think there are a lot of telecommuters in the area, and I probably should have gotten in a little bit earlier as I think many people’s breakfast needs have already been met.  Perhaps cookies would have been a better idea.  It is always a good time for cookies!

I saw Mark Pilgrim as I was coming out of the break room.  I wasn’t sure if I should have said, “Hi Mark, I read your blog” or just screamed something about bunnies.  I opted for what I generally do in these situations.  I didn’t say anything.  Honestly, I wouldn’t have even known it was Mark if he hadn’t recently started video blogging.
